Project modalities

Our projects follow the principle of ‘helping people to help themselves’. By sending donations in kind and providing funding, we aim to sustainably improve the living conditions of local people, improve education and healthcare and create sustainable infrastructure.

We send donations of goods in the following cases: firstly, if they are not financially viable for the people concerned and our partner organisations in the target country. Secondly, if the donations in kind are not available on the local market. In addition to complete documentation and quality assurance of technical equipment/systems, their spare parts supply, commissioning and maintenance, the organisation also supports the training of employees in the operation of the equipment/systems in our partner countries.

To apply for aid shipments and financial support for projects, please use the following application forms in the language that suits you best:

The Executive Board of the association decides on the support of project applications at its monthly meetings. Decisive for this are the respective date of receipt and our funding criteria:

Emergency aid measures and aid shipments in the event of a disaster are carried out in close coordination with supranational organisations such as the UNHCR, the International Red Cross or Caritas International, with the major aid organisations operating in Germany and with the recipient organisations on the ground.
